Safer Internet Day 2024 will take place on the 6th of February 2024, with celebrations and learning based around the theme 'Inspiring change?
The children will have a classroom Collective Worship on the day, specifically tailored for their age group about keeping safe, making a difference, managing influence and navigating change online'.
Safer Internet Day is the UK's biggest celebration of online safety.
This year Children's mental health week will take place in the last week of this term.
This year's theme is 'My Voice Matters’.
During Children’s Mental Health Week, we want all children and young people, whoever they are, and wherever they are in the world, to be able to say – and believe - “My Voice Matters”.
The children will have a special Collective Worship on Monday this week and take part in a Reading survey so they their voice can be heard in what new books they would like purchased for the library.
To celebrate and encourage a lifelong love of reading at home and school, we will be running a sponsored read this term.

We are delighted to announce that we have again achieved the School Games GOLD Mark Award for the 2022/23 academic year. The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.
