Keeping with the theme of animals I have focussed on pet animals this week. Everyone seems to have enjoyed the Dear Zoo story last week. This week we have a lovely cat story, Six Dinner Sid. It is one of my favourites, having four cheeky cats of my own. The phonics plan is also found below and is week 4 of the plan. This follows on from last week. I have seen some fabulous potato printing animals posted on Tapestry and am really enjoying catching up with how you get on with your activities. If you have any questions at all or need support with any aspect of learning please message on Tapestry and I will get back to you.

Hello to all my little learners and their parents.
I watched some adorable footage via web cams in Edinburgh zoo this week of the pandas - who seem to be enjoying the peace and quiet while we are all in lockdown. It inspired me to plan a week of activities taking advantage of the many wonderful virtual tours of zoos that are available at the moment. I hope you enjoy them and perhaps learn some new animal facts along the way.
