Week 1

We watched a fantastic video from the National Nutcracker all about the Royal Opera House. We were very excited to begin this exciting project! We began our session by warming up our bodies, moving around the space and Mrs Brown calling out body parts, which we had to join with a partner using. This was very funny! Then we explored magical worlds and journeying to them. We then focused in on our theme, using the BFG as our stimulus. We thought about our bedtime routine and designed three motifs independently, linking them together and repeating them on a loop. We used the music from the Nutcracker and can't wait to build on our ideas next week!
