  • Pupil Premium Strategy

Pupil Premium is funding given to schools to support pupils who claim free school meals and those who are looked after by the local authority. The funding is meant to help raise the achievement of these pupils and to 'close the gap' between different groups of pupils. It is for schools to decide how the Pupil Premium allocated to schools is spent, since the government believes that they are best placed to assess what additional provision should be made for the individual pupils within their responsibility

COVID Catch up Premium Funding was allocated to schools in the 2020 - 2021 Academic Year. Details of the funding received by the school and how this was spent are detailed within the Pupil Premium Spending report for this academic year.

Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.  The next Pupil Premium Strategy  review is Autumn 2024.
