This week in phonics please could you continue to work on flash cards and High Frequency words.

Could you give your child a cvc word to try and spell using their flashcards. For example;

mat,

cat,

vet,

fan, 

jug,

sit,

log.

Could you make a sentence using the high frequency words and encourage your child to segment the sounds in words and blend them together to read the words. For example;

Mum and Dad went to get a dog.
