    What is Drawing Talk Therapies?

Drawing and Talking Therapies is a 12-week therapeutic intervention program for children and young people. The tool allows children to bring what they need to their sessions; they lead and direct the sessions according to their feelings and drawings. This therapeutic approach allows pupils to discover and communicate emotions through a non-directed technique and as such sets it apart from other existing solution-focused, cognitive based therapies and interventions. Drawing is a different way to help children, express and channel their feelings rather than them using verbal language.
