Who was Boudicca? 

We've been examining historical sources today to gain more of an understanding of the type of person that Boudicca was. We looked at pieces of art and statues depicting her and decided whether or not they matched written sources. We then decided which image suited the descriptions best!

Attention!

We learnt all about the Roman Army today, thinking about all the training involved and the kind of life that they lead. We also examined the armour and equipment they would have worn and carried. We then made ourselves into our very own Sycamore Legion!

Holiday Homework!

Wow! We're very impressed with the time and effort the class have taken on their holiday homework! Half of us were asked to make a Celtic Shield, and the other half made a Roman one. We can't wait to use them in our own version of the Battle of Watling Street next week!
