    Dreamcatchers

Today we finished off our topic by creating our own dream catchers! We learnt how the native Americans believed that the web caught the bad dreams and allowed the good dreams through. They used to hang them over the beds of children and newly married couples.

    All Aboard!

We've been using the Polar Express this week in our English work. Today, our classroom was set up like a train carriage! We all got a ticket and the conductor punched them before w were allowed to board. We then thought about all the descriptive vocabulary we could use to describe the inside and outside of the train!

    Scratch Animations!

This week, we have used Scratch to create animations where a plane travels from London to New York. We had to think about adapting the blocks that we had learnt to make the animation work effectively. We even added our own messages to the passengers on board!
