Paws, Claws and Whiskers
We all had a hold of Rosie and Nibbles this morning whilst talking about our pets and animals we like. We also identified whether these animals had paws, claws or whiskers.
We decided which books had animals in and read them independently and in pairs. We loved talking about the animals and what characters we did and did not like. Boo for the Big Bad Wolf!
We had a great time on our trip to Woodside Wildlife Park. We held a snake and stroked an owl, bearded dragon and millipede. We saw Lynx get fed and met Gloria the tiger. Then, of course, had a great time in the gift shop.
We made jam sandwiches to help us write instructions this week. Now if a greedy tiger ever shows up for tea we will have a recipe ready to make a whole plate full he can gobble up.
