The children have been working in partners to read the Ditty Master copies. They have done an amazing job and really helped each other out when their friends are stuck.

The children have been working so hard in phonics. Today they have moved on to the Red Ditty story books. They read the story, taking it in turns with their partner to read a page each. The children then move on to writing sentences about what they have just read. The children used all their phonics knowledge so far to support them. They are so excited to be taking home a reading book too. Fantastic!
