  • Phonics

Today the children have been practicing writing their new sound by using the iPads, sand and using their phonics books, ensuring they form the sounds correctly by saying the rhyme as they go. They then made CVC words using magnetic letters.

The children did a fantastic job at segmenting they sounds and sweeping them together to read the words.

There has been some great phonics work so far this week. The children have really tried hard and are becoming more independent. Well done!
