Week 6 - A collection of the work we have completed this term and our reflections on our 'Stargazer' Learning Journey

This term Pine Class have really enjoyed learning all about Space.

Below are some examples or our 'Falling Through Space' artwork using perspective and links to the presentations the children have made explaining their new knowledge about their learning journey.

Week 5 Home Learning

This week has been another amazing week in Pine Class. We have designed and made our own paper planes as part of a STEM activity, testing them out and adapting designs to make them fly further. 

We have learned stippling effects hatching and cross hatching techniques to add shade and texture to drawings of aliens in art and have learned more on division  and diaries in our LIVE lessons.

Week 4 Home Learning

This week we have been learning more about Sir Isaac Newton, writing space raps, extending our multiplication skills and looking at space themed music. We have also enjoyed designing our own space shuttles, rovers or satellites and experimenting with animation to tell the story of Sir Isaac Newton.

Week 1- week beginning 4th January

Science/English

This week we are finding out all about our Solar System.

In English we will be writing Mneumonics to help us learn the order of the 8 planets. We also used the same research to write 10 Fascinating Facts about our Solar System to start off our Learning Journeys.
