The children of Maple Class were surprised to see a penguin arrive in our classroom this week.

This week the children listened to the story 'A sick day for Amos McGee'. The children then had to write a letter to someone thanking them for helping them when they were sick.

This week we have been exploring the signs of Autumn. We have then written an acrostic poem about Autumn.

This week the children have been looking at writing instruction to make 'Pumpkin Soup' after listening to the story.
