Term 1

The children played a sounds game where they had to really listen carefully to the sound and identify the picture to match. This supports the children’s listening and attention skills.

This term the children are looking at feelings. This involves recognising different feelings and how they and others may feel. The children started off by relaxing and going to their special place in their minds. They then had to sort different emotions. We read the colour monsters story and then the children had to create their own colour monster.

Today for PSHE the children played a game of thief and jailer. The children had to take the keys from the jailer as quietly as possible so they do not get identified. But to start with the children relaxed and went to their special place in their minds, working on their rainbow breathing.
