A day in Wonderland!
We have kicked off our topic in style this term...Wonderland Style! We had some fantastic costumes and brilliant props! We were amazed at the effort and commitment the children showed towards the day!
We had lots of different activities throughout the morning. First of all, we wrote some What Am I riddles for visitors to our class to solve before they were allowed to enter!
We presented these to display in our welcome corridor. We also created flower faces, in the style of the Wonderland flower garden! Finally, we used sharpies to design our own ceramic tile tea coaster using Wonderland ideas!
Mad Hatter's Tea Party!
We finished off our amazing Engage Day with a Mad Hatter's Tea Party! We had some wonderful donations and home baking from the children and we were blown away by the amount of thought and effort that went into their creations! They thoroughly enjoyed eating them too!
