In math's this week we are continuing looking at addition and subtraction. We are also starting to look at the idea of a fact family, which is where a number sentence can be written in different configurations and still contain all the same numbers. This leads on from number bonds covered last week. There are some Power points and activity sheets below to be completed and will explain this further. But as an extra fun task, I would like you to either go out in the garden or the house, then try to make your own number sentences using items you might find. For example 6 leaves + 4 leaves would = 10 leaves. You can get as creative as you like. Take a picture of your number sentences (with the objects with them) and post on dojo to show me.
