Welcome to Pine Class!

 

Below you can find out what we have been learning about this term.

Our topic at the moment is:

Contrasting Cultures

 

During the Summer Term we will be learning about the continent of

 

 

We will conduct our own research into the languages spoken, population, climate, countries, flags and geographical features.

In term 6 we will focus in more detail on 'The Caribbean' looking at stories and folk tales, artists and musicians. In DT we will be working on Carnival headdress designs.

Healthy Eating Week Activity

Friday 5th June

 

Today we took part in a live cooking event watching Roy cook a healthy Caribbean dish of Peppered Mackerel on Couscous.

We all worked in groups and even joined in the live conference emailing the studio with questions!

 

Well done Pine Class you did a great job- even though we missed one stage due to our enthusiasm.

In class we have been learning about the Life Cycle of plants. This week we have looked at different ways that plants have evolved in order to spread their seeds.

Spring Term 2015

 

In Science we are learning about our Solar System, the seasons, time zones and how shadows are formed.

We loved the French Play entitled "The World's Gone French."
