End of Key Stage Data

End of Key Stage 2

Our Year 6 pupils take part in the National SATs tests for Reading, Maths and SPAG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar), every year. The children's writing is also assessed by their Class Teachers.

The children are given a 'scaled score' for Reading, Maths and SPAG, which correlates with their raw score. A scaled score of 100 or above is classed as 'age expected'. A scaled score of below 100 means the child has not achieved 'age expected'.

EYFS end of year Good level of Development (GLD) 2022-2023

71.43% of children in Early years reached the expected level of Development in the academic year 2022-2023.

The benchmarks set for the end of the Reception Year are what we assess all our children against. When a child fulfils all the requirements in each developmental area, they are considered to have achieved the early learning benchmarks and are operating at the expected level for their age.

It is recognised that a number of our children might achieve these benchmarks before the close of the Reception Year. In such cases, we consistently provide them with opportunities to enhance and apply their abilities, ensuring a greater depth of understanding and mastery of their learning.
