Native American Non-Fiction Texts
We had a jumbled up Non-Fiction Text to sort out today. We had to design out very own page from a Native American Information book. We had all the information, but it was all in the wrong order! We had to match the information to the correct subheading and the right caption with the correct picture!
River Shape Poems
Our shape poems look amazing on our display outside our classroom! We used our ideas from the river walk to inspire our writing!
We had a lovely walk to the River Bain today to inspire our writing of River Shape Poems this week. We have been watching Pocahontas and we have been thinking of exciting vocabulary to describe her journey down the river.
If I were...poetry!
We have been looking at the film, Brother Bear. We watched where Kenai is turned into a bear by the spirits. We wrote our own poems thinking about what life would be like as a bear. We then used the app Chomp to decide on other objects we could become...and wrote a poem to accompany the picture. Such a great way of presenting our work!
