Sycamore Class Trip to Harry Potter Studios
Sycamore Class went all the way to London to Watford to the Harry Potter Studios. We had such a fantastic day (even though there was an early start!) We loved looking at all the set and props from all of the films! We even had a go at riding on your very own broomstick through Hogwarts!
Harry Potter Museum Guides
When we visited Harry Potter Studios, we took lots of photos and video footage from the day. In our lessons after the trip, we have used this to create our own Museum Guide Videos using the technique of Green-Screening. We learned that lots of top movie visual effects happen using this technique! We wrote scripts in literacy and then added this to a film clip of our videos and photos! We hope you like our results!

Potion Making in Sycamore!
In Sycamore, we joined Professor Snape's Potion Making Class and designed our own potions. We looking at different ingredients and wrote our own instructions for create them. In Numeracy, we used our knowledge of capacity and measuring to accurately create the potions in Snape's Class!
