The children looked at the story Handas Surprise. The children had to write a shopping list and at the end of the week taste all the delicious fruit.

Today the children were looking at the story Alice and Wonderland where she drinks a potion and it makes her small. In English today the children had to think about a potion that they would make to be what ever they wanted to be. The children had some great ideas. Some wanted to be bigger, some invisible and some wanted to make them fly. The children had to write a list of ingredients and instructions on how to make their potion. They really were creative.

This week in English the children are looking at writing instructions for making Paddington favourite food, marmalade sandwich! Some children used photographs to help order how to make a marmalade sandwich.
