Lives First Aid
On Monday 22nd June some Responders from Lives came to teach us some valuable First Aid including some basics about medicine and what to do in an emergency. We learned how to wash our hands correctly, how to dial 999, all about heart beats and what happens when we exercise and also about the importance of injections for vaccination and for giving medicine. We practised on our teddies who were really brave and made model patients!
To say thank you and to support Lives we made muffins to sell on Sports Day. They were healthy carrot muffins. We really enjoyed cooking them and we are looking forward to enjoying eating them too!
