Welcome to Maple Class where our journey begins.
This first week the children have been getting to know each other, making friends and exploring their environment. What a fantastic group of children! They have all settled in well.
As part of children's mental health week Maple Class went to visit the residents of Bramhall Residential Home. Whilst there, the children shared their toys with the residents and drew them some pictures to take back to their rooms.
To end children's mental health week the parents of Maple Class were invited in for lunch with their child.
Parents were invited in to have a look at their children's work that they have completed over the course of the term. The parents had a lovely afternoon and judging by our amazing feedback, they are impressed with their children's learning and continued progress and success.
The children had a brilliant afternoon celebrating Shrove Tuesday. They started the afternoon off by listening to the Story 'Mr Wolfs Pancakes' by Jan Fearnley and then made their own pancakes which they topped off with lemon juice, sugar, maple syrup or chocolate spread.
Today the children enjoyed a Samba Drumming workshop. They listened really well and had so much fun!
