Willow have been learning about mechanism in DT this term and will be making a new mechanism each week to sequence the story of Dragon Stew. This moving book will be shared with Maple Class
Willow are following their instructions from last week to start cutting out their poppy's and leaves.
Autumn term 2 -Willow class are learning how to sew, they will be be building on their sewing skills to finally sew their own poppy broach.
WOW what an exciting week. We have been using our plan to build and test the strength of our bridges. The children worked in pairs and tested their bridges over a mini river.
Willow class have been exploring how to make bridges stronger by using different folding methods with paper.
In DT this term we will be exploring and making our own bridges.
Willow class have really enjoyed starting to learn about different structures of bridges they have even started building their own bridges from stickle bricks.
