Viking Day at Perlethorpe

 

We had a fantastic day at Perlethorpe on our trip this week! We arrived in the morning and we were met by Marcus No Laugh the Viking! He was really funny and very loud! We donned our Viking tunics and split into clans. We had to trek up to our Viking settlement in the forest, where we sat on sheepskin rugs and learnt all about the Viking weapons and way of life. We then got to make our own jewellery, grind flour and a play a Viking shield game! After lunch, we went into the forest to build our own Viking settlement. Our shelters were amazing and they even lasted the hurricane and rainstorm test!
