Rainforest Report Writing

Willow Class have been learning about non-chronological report writing in their English lessons.  First they studied different examples, including one on Meerkats.  Then they have really enjoyed researching facts about exciting rainforest animals such as: squirrel monkeys, sloths, poison tree frogs, jaguars and tree boas.  Having learned that this type of text has subheadings to organise the information, they wrote facts about their chosen animals:  diet, features and habitat.  They also wrote an introduction sentence at the start and a question to the reader at the end.
