This term, we are reading "Shackleton's Journey" by William Grill
Immerse: we looked at the different objects related to our book to help us unpick our predictions about what our new story entails. We used post it notes to answer questions about the objects!
Using drama to explore the feelings and emotions of Shackleton’s preparation process. We used freeze frames to show demonstrate how much effort went into the planning process. Using this information, we used a conscious alley to argue whether or not Shackleton should have gone on the journey. Finally, we used a hot seat to interview Shackleton to find out more about his motivations!
