Maths
This week you are going to start your unit on numbers to 100. Make sure you don't reverse your numbers when writing them. E.g. sixty seven will be 67, not 76. Some of these activities ask you to use equipment you may not have at home so try and improvise! I have attached a 100 square to help but you may need to use lego, beads or pasta etc to further aid understanding.
Grammar:
Please write 2 of the spellings each day into 2 separate sentences so that by the end of the week you have 10 sentences containing each of your 10 spellings. (Spellings can be found on the 'Spelling' sub page under 'Week 8').
Do not forget that these sentences need capital letters, full stops and finger spaces. Get the children chanting it at home like they do at school! Also remind the children to use 'phoneme fingers' in order to sound out and spell their words.
Extended writing:
You will be creating a wanted poster for the naughty wolf in Little Red Riding Hood this week. I loved your previous storyboards so much that I have included it as one of your activities again for this week. Hopefully these wanted posters will help us find the sly wolf!
