Today the children had to pretend they were bees. Hoops were used for flowers, bean bags were scattered for pollen, a child wa used for the queen bee and a beehive was set up for their home. The children had to buzz around the hall. When I called out an instruction i.e pollen, flower, queen bee or beehive the children had to either sit in the beehive, stand around the queen bee, stand in a hoop or pick up a bean bag. The children really enjoyed themselves and listened well.
Our topic this term is Minibeasts, so in PE today we have been looking at the way different Minibeasts move. We have slithered like a slug, fluttered like a butterfly and even stomped like an ant. We then had to go around the obstacle course moving like Minibeasts.
