In Science this week we are continuing looking at Autumn and how plants change. See if you can go on a nature walk and collect some different leaves. Think about how the colours of the leaves have changed from Summer to Autumn. In the Summer they are green and attached to the trees, how have they changed? What colours are they? And are they still attached to the trees? Some will be, these are called evergreens and lots of trees will now have lost almost all their leaves.
Take the leaves you collect home and get some paper, trace the leaves onto the paper and try to draw the detail on them. Next colour in your picture trying to match the colours you can see on the leaves; there should be lots of yellows, reds, oranges and browns.
