Music

Spring Term

This term we are looking at a  unit of work called, ' Dancing in the Street', where we will be learning all about Mowtown music (Soul).

We will be using recorders to try and play along with the song and comparing the instruments used in different Mowtown songs.

Along with this, the children will discuss the structure of each piece and how it makes them feel. We will also place this era of music on a timeline and link it to more recent artists, who have been inspired.
