Please could you listen to the story Handas Surprise and write a shopping list of the fruit that Handa had in her basket. Please could you encourage your child to write the letter sounds they have covered so far in words. The words that they have not covered, please could you write in yellow for your child to trace over.

Please start the English activity off  by writing;

I went to the shop and bought.....

Once this activity has finished why don't you get some of the fruits listed, model how to chop up the fruit and then let your child have a turn at chopping the vegetables and enjoy tasting the fruit they have prepared.
