• Author Visit

  We were very fortunate to  welcome  Gail Clarke author, illustrator and storyteller to our school on Monday 19^th December.

  Gail was a primary school teacher for 28 years in a school in Hong Kong and retired in 2004 to Italy. She has written and published five books.

  The day begin  with an interactive whole school story and then each class had a  workshop promoting reading and writing skills.

   

  

• Carol Concert

  Thank you to everyone who attended our Carol Concert on Friday. Year 6 led the readings and  Reception acted out the Christmas Story. The school choir performed two lovely songs and the staff choir sang Silent Night.

  

• Christmas Fair

  Thank you to Friends of the School for a brilliant Christmas Fair. We are really very grateful to all those involved in the planning and to all who supported on the day. A total of £1157 was raised, a fantastic amount which will be used to provide additional resources for the children.

• Christingle Service

  Thank you to all those who attended the Christingle Service on 6th December. The Christian Committee led  a lovely service ending with  prayers for children in difficult circumstances. Our fantastic choir sang 'Love Shine A Light' supported by children from Sign Language Club. All the children thoroughly enjoyed processing round the church with their lit Christingles.

  The retiring collection was in aid of the Children's Society
